Dr. Rostyslav Semikov is a former practicing medical doctor with over eight years of experience in the procurement of biological samples for research use. His education includes a Master of Science in Global Health Science from Oxford University (UK) and a Medical Doctor from Zaporozhye State Medical University (Ukraine). His previous work experience includes general medical practice, public health management, international healthcare affairs, and head of development at European biobanking CRO. He is well-versed in all aspects of prospective procurement projects and serves as the authority on feasibility for all Audubon Bioscience projects. Dr. Semikov is leading the company’s expansion into different countries by finding country managers, training, and advising on project execution.

Dr. Alla Semikova is a co-founder and Board Member of Audubon Bioscience. She graduated from Voronezh State Medical University named after N.N. Burdenko in Voronezh, Russia with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree and attended residency there. She then moved to Kyiv, Ukraine, where she specialized in therapeutic dentistry at the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. In 2016-2018 Alla worked as a general dentist at “Stomatology 24h” and “Smile Studio” dental clinics, then in 2018-2020 as a periodontist at “ESTE-line” dental clinic.

Erik has 10+ years of experience working in biospecimen procurement prior to joining Audubon, holding leadership roles in both business development and technology. In his role at Audubon he will focus on improving the experience for our clients and expanding the number of researchers we support. Erik holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a Master’s degree from the University of Alabama - Huntsville where his research focus was supply chain optimization.
Ivan Mykhalchuk, M.A.

Ivan Mykhalchuk holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the National University of Ostroh Academy (Ukraine) and is an alumni (2001-2002) of FLEX program (USA). He practiced for more than 13 years in a top-tier law firm and the biggest investment company in Ukraine, focusing on transactions, M&A, finance, and healthcare. Mr. Mykhalchuk joined Audubon Bioscience as a General Counsel where he oversaw the business’s legal matters and provided legal guidance to the upper management. From 2023 he obtains the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Elena Serdyukova has 20+ years of experience in accounting and corporate finance. She started her career in the transport sector and has been working in medical research companies since 2011. Elena joined the Audubon team in March 2019.

Trinh has many years of valuable experience in quality management at companies such as Baylor Genetics and Baylor College of Medicine. While at Baylor Genetics she played an important role in securing CLIA certification for a company branch in Japan. Trinh holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Houston and also an MBA from the same university as well as ASQ certification in Six Sigma Green Belt.
Alexandra Giardina, M.S.

Alexandra Giardina graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences and Minor in Chemistry. She has 4 years of experience in neurosignaling physiology research and 8 years of experience in cancer research and clinical application of biobanking. She also has 8 years of biorepository management experience with a focus on fresh tissue procurement. Alex's main interests are in tumor morphology, etiology and pathogenesis within different demographic populations. She received a Master's degree in Anatomic Pathology from Tulane University School of Medicine and also practices as a Pathologists' Assistant. Her intent is to foster more efficient collaborations between researchers, surgeons and pathologists. She currently leads the operation of Audubon Bio’s New Orleans office in the United States.

Anastasiia Popova has more than five years of experience in the research setting. She has a BA in Psychology from LCC International University and an MSc in Brain Imaging from the University of Nottingham. She has received testimony to her interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills, collaborating effectively with investigators, researchers, and clinicians. Through training and education, she has become well-versed in coordinating and conducting brain imaging and behavioral studies while also managing complex data. As a Project Management Director at Audubon Bioscience, she strives to utilize her skills to contribute to the worldwide research aimed at better health and wellbeing solutions.

He enabled plenty of essential projects including a number of efficiency initiatives, ERP system implementation, Process Automations, Reporting Transformation, New Product Launches, Risk Mitigations, Capital Investments, Strategic Benchmarking, and others. Olena has 12+ years of experience and before joining Audubon Bioscience worked at top-tier Ukrainian law firms advising both international and local clients and leading a group of lawyers. Olena holds a Masters’ Degree in Law from the National University of Ostroh Academy (Ukraine). Olena focuses on M&A, corporate and commercial law, and also has an extensive experience in structuring and supporting various cross-border transactions. Since 2021, Olena has been listed in the Best Lawyers Directory as a recognized expert in Mergers and Acquisitions Law in Ukraine and was recommended lawyer in commercial, corporate and M&A, The Legal 500: EMEA 2021.

Emily shifted into clinical research in 2012 working with sites worldwide to execute observational clinical studies. She is located in Huntsville, AL and proud to be part of the Audubon Corporate Team.

Gergana Frateva is a master of science in Pharmaceuticals, graduated from the Medical University in Sofia in 2008. She has more than 14 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry in large multinational companies. Gergana has broad experience in different marketing and sales roles, including international assignments and more than 8 years as a country manager. Gergana sets up an Audubon Bioscience country operation in Bulgaria for business implementation and coordination of its projects. Her main responsibilities include managing clinical trials and collecting biobanking study data through the company’s strategic direction and goals.

Jennifer Cvitanovic graduated from the University of New Orleans (UNO) with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Chemistry. She also graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans (LSUHSC-NO) with a Master of Science in Human Genetics. She has over 15 years of experience in molecular genetics, data management, cancer research, and biobanking/biorepository management. Jennifer is most interested in translational research and encouraging bench-to-bedside projects. As the US Country Manager, she carries responsibility for the operations of Audubon Bio’s New Orleans.

Ariadna Avram has a Master degree in Environmental Geological Engineering, a Bachelor’s in Geology and Geophysics. She has more than 13 years of experience as a research and development manager, including 11 years on clinical research trials on oncology, urology, gastroenterology, dermatology, hematology, cardiology, diabetology. Ariadna joined Audubon in 2022 and carries responsibility for the company's operations in Romania.

Maksym, with a Doctor of Medicine degree in Gynecology and Healthcare Management from Lugansk Medical Institute, brings over 25 years of professional experience to our team. His career has been distinguished by roles in leading multinational and local companies such as Boehringer, Synevo Laboratories, and MedCity Plastic Surgery Clinic, where he has been instrumental in driving regional sales growth and managing private medical practices. In 2023, Maksym joined Audubon Bioscience as the Country Manager for Ukraine, his goal is to steer our operations and spearhead expansion efforts in the region.
Tatiana Ogienko, M.D.

Dr. Ogienko graduated from National O.Bogomolets Medical University (Kyiv, Ukraine) and has been practicing medicine for nine years while continuing her clinical career. She held a pediatrician position in the National Specialised Pediatric Hospital OHMATDET and worked as a medical translator. Tatiana joined Audubon Bioscience as a Project Manager in 2020. She is confident that research will help current clinical challenges. Her field of interests include pediatrics and evidence-based medicine.

Alona Bunchak studied general psychology at Middlesex Community College at Bedford (MA). She has five years of experience as a project manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In 2019, Alona joined Dr. Valikhnovski Surgery Institute in Kiev Ukraine as an International Customer Director. In 2020 Alona Bunchak joined Audubon Bioscience as Project Manager.

Inna has six years of working experience in the Supply Chain and Customer Service Departments in Syngenta LLC. (Crop Protection & Seeds business). She worked as a Customer Service Specialist, providing high-quality service to the company’s distributors. Later on, she worked as a Country Supply Planner, supporting budgeted sales plan performance by effectively replenishing and supplying Crop Protection goods. Inna has a Master’s degree in International economics from Zaporizhzhya Classic Private University. In 2018, she completed the standalone module Supply Chain Strategy at the University of Warwick, UK. Inna joined Audubon Bioscience in 2020 as a Project Manager.

She is a University of Michigan trained medical Interpreter and is fluent in three languages. Her passions are running, travel and photography.

When working as Sourcing and Procurement manager in clinical trials area for SanaClis CRO (Slovakia) and Coordinator on pre-clinical and clinical trials for Yuria-Pharm (Ukraine), Alla got a practice in: Contracts development, Projects coordination, Budget preparation, Customers&Vendors communication, collaboration with Regulatory Authorities, Supplies management. Alla Semenova joined Audubon Bioscience as Key Account Manager in 2021.

She began working for the Louisiana Cancer Research Center in New Orleans, LA where she consented to patients and collected oncological biospecimens for cancer research. She now serves as a Business Development Manager at Audubon Bioscience, helping negotiate deals and drive business growth within the company.

Before joining Audubon Bioscience in 2022, Iryna acquired more than 5 years of professional experience in project, account, and international operations management with a primary focus on delivering services to a wide range of clients in the healthcare industry. In her previous role as a project manager at Audubon Bioscience, she oversaw requests and ongoing projects, ensuring effective and timely delivery of biospecimen solutions to our partners. In her new role as Business Development Manager, she oversees growth projects and helps drive business growth within Audubon. Iryna graduated from National Aviation University (Kyiv, Ukraine) with a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Affairs.
Bohdana Shkurupii, M.D.

Bohdana Shkurupii received her Medical Degree in 2015 at the Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy. After graduating, she worked as a pathologist at Cherkasy Regional Hospital’s pathology department. Since 2018, she has been at the Department of Pathology at Bogomolets National Medical University. She joined Audubon in 2019 as a Pathologist and Biobank manager. Since 2020, she has acted as Audubon’s Senior Key Account Manager and in 2022 she was appointed Head of Feasibility and Optimization. Her general and oncological pathology knowledge helps her get a deeper understanding of researchers’ needs and coordinate their projects effectively.

Halyna Chytaieva graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University (Kyiv, Ukraine), completed a pathology internship, and received a Ph.D. in Medicine. She has vast experience as a pathologist while also teaching pathology and acting as laboratory staff within scientific projects. Dr. Chytaieva is also head of the statistics department in a Primary Medical Care City Center. In 2020, Halyna Chytaieva joined the Audubon Bioscience team as a Biobank Manager. She works with biobanking samples, checking patients’ databases or medical records, and verifying pathologic diagnoses.

Anna Vedmedenko has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She worked as a research assistant in Guinti Psychometrics Ukraine and has experience in management, organization, coordination, and data collection from working in Neuroflex, a center for neuropsychological diagnostics. One of Anna’s main motivations is the feeling of being involved in something useful and meaningful. Anna became a part of Audubon’s team in 2020 as Supplies and Logistics Manager because of her alignment with Audubon’s mission and core values. She is responsible for managing supplies, developing and improving logistics processes, and coordinating equipment purchasing throughout Eurasia countries.

Natalia holds a BA degree in Theology, and BA in English Linguistics, completed General psychology and Counseling studies in the United Kingdom and obtained HR certification from LvBS. She has extensive experience in sourcing and talent management working for an international recruitment agency and later on managing own executive search company. Before moving to HR and recruitment she was on the management team of a Ukrainian association that ran preventive programs for high school students in Kyiv. In 2021 she joined Audubon Bioscience as HR Business Partner.

Vasyl graduated from Danylo Halytsky Medical University in Lviv, Ukraine in 2015. From 2015 to 2016, he completed an internship at the medical academy in Kyiv, and from 2016 to 2018, a clinical residency in Kyiv. He is the co-author of the monograph "Training and assessment of the competence of the staff of clinical diagnostic laboratories according to the requirements of international standards" and author of 4 articles in international publications. While studying at school and university, he was professionally fond of sports, archery, is the Champion of Europe, multiple Champion of Ukraine and multiple laureate of international competitions. During his studies at the academy, he took an active part in the public life of student activity and headed the Student Self-Government

Iryna joined Audubon Bioscience in 2021 and legally supports the company’s business matters. Iryna Petsko holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the National University of Ostroh Academy.

Volodymyr Kravchenko has over 11 years of legal experience. Volodymyr worked at the law firm where he was leading Immigration Law, Corporate & Business Support practices. He was advising foreign clients on various legal matters in Ukraine, including launching and conducting business activities, immigration questions, and regulatory compliance for nonprofit organizations. Volodymyr graduated from Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (Ukraine) with a Master’s degree in Law and also holds a Ph.D. degree in Law. At Audubon Bioscience Volodymyr Kravchenko is responsible for the Compliance & Ethics Program, and ensures the proper processing and protection of personal information.

Haley Walters graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology and went on to earn her Master’s of Science degree in Anatomic Pathology. She is a certified Pathologists’ Assistant and has worked at some of America’’s leading cancer institutions. She has over 5 years of clinical research experience involving pharmaceutical, biological psychiatric, and central nervous system research. She now works with Audubon as a Clinical Partner Manager to manage all external samples sourcing efforts, including with biorepository vendors, academic institutions, private hospitals, and community oncology centers.

Melissa Occhi graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Textiles, Apparel and Merchandising. After college, she started a career in medical sales. Melissa has over 10 years experience in medical/pharmaceutical sales. She is currently the Project Coordinator for Audubon Bioscience New Orleans where she assists in case collections, data reporting and updating internal documents.
