Houston, Texas, April 5, 2023 - Audubon Bioscience, a leading biotechnology company, has announced that it will be presenting an Oral Contributed paper at the 2023 International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) Annual Meeting. The event is scheduled for May 3-6, 2023, at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, USA.

The ISBER Annual Meeting is a prestigious event that brings together experts and professionals from the biobanking and environmental repository fields. The conference provides an opportunity for researchers, clinicians, industry professionals, and policymakers to share their latest findings, best practices, and technological advances in biological and environmental sample management. And so we are honored to present for the first time, an oral contributed paper at this year’s ISBER 2023

Our Oral Contributed paper titled “Biobanking during War” will be presented on May 4, 2023, at 4:30 PM (Session 1).

"We look forward to engaging with other members and experts of the biobanking community at the ISBER Annual Meeting. We believe that by working together and sharing our knowledge, we can advance the field of biobanking and improve the quality of research for years to come." - added Alexandra Giardina, Senior Operations Director of Audubon Bioscience, who will be presenting the topic.

The presentation will showcase the company's perseverance and best management practices in advancing biobanking, including its innovative approaches for controlling complex biological and environmental samples even in times of war. The presentation will also discuss the company's improvised unique sample processing and storage solutions, which are designed to improve sample quality, stability, and preservation during the war in Ukraine. Attendees can also meet with our team before and after the presentation to learn more about the company's innovative biobanking solutions and speak with our representatives.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to present an oral contributed paper on our biobanking experience and ordeals during the war in Ukraine at the ISBER 2023 Annual Meeting," said Liudmyla, Ukraine's Country Manager at Audubon Bioscience.

"Our team survived the first year of this gruesome war in Ukraine by working hard to develop new methods for preserving biological specimens despite the challenges inflicted by the war, and we are eager to share our exploits with the wider scientific community."

The Audubon Bioscience team has been an active participant in ISBER events as well as committees for a couple of years now. For instance, in the spring of 2022, our team presented a poster, on the topic of "Overcoming Natural and Socio-Economic Challenges in Biobanking: Examples from USA and Nigeria"
