Audubon’s poster at the Leaders in Biobanking Congress 2021
Houston, Texas - October 5, 2021 - Audubon's poster presentation entitled "Plasma is emerging as a key component of matched biosamples sets" has been selected at this year's Leaders in Biobanking Virtual Congress on October 12, 2021.
We are thrilled to announce that our work gained the interest of the organizing committee, and we had the chance to share our observations and analysis on biospecimen procurement trends for 2020.
"It's a great honor that our work has been recognized and selected for display at this event, bringing together the leaders in our field," said Dr. Rostyslav Semikov, CEO of Audubon. "We are happy to share our findings with our colleagues to catch up on the advances they have made."
In this poster, we discuss the importance of matched biosample sets for the advancement of new drug and therapy development. Moreover, our activity in tissue procurement services grants us great visibility over the trends in using such samples for research needs and, therefore, the needed expertise to analyze the requests and trends in the tissues and formats that compose these sets for 2020. As our title states, we have identified plasma samples to be dominating as one of the specimens within matched sets. Our observations come in as no surprise given the strong interest of the biopharma community towards liquid biopsy tests development for urgent unmet medical needs.
By closely analyzing the trends and directions in our collections yearly, we aim to understand the field better and support our scientific partners in their research projects.
You can register for the event and join us at 1.10 pm (EDT) to watch our presentation and later discuss with our colleague Brittany Chirinos, who will be attending the Q&A session.
