Human PBMCs Samples
PBMCs from patients with hematological malignancies are regularly collected. But as PBMCs gain more attention in other diseases-related fields, prospective collections from other indications can be organized upon request.
- Oncology
- Benign tumors
- Hematology
- Infectious diseases
- Autoimmune diseases
Sample Collection and Storage
Audubon Bio collects viable PBMCs isolated from whole blood. All samples are collected under IRB approval and in accordance with standard processing protocols.
PBMCs are processed within 2-3 hours, and frozen within 4 hours of blood collection (in freezing media, containing 10% DMSO). The percentage of cell viability is verified before freezing and only vials with at least 95% viability are kept and stored at temperatures between -140°C and -180°C in vapor-phase of LN2. Audubon Bio guarantees at least 60% viability after proper thaw.
PBMCs Collection Formats
Each vial of PBMCs contains at least 1×10*7 cells in classical freezing media, containing 10% DMSO. Upon request, cell concentration and freezing media can be customized.
Additional Laboratory Services
