Laboratory Assistant

Goal:

The role will be responsible to make sure that all biosamples are marked, checked into the system correctly and stored in a timely manner. 

 

Job Duties:

• Receive samples from collection sites
• Register samples into the database, record their volume, condition, haemolysis
• Conduct quality control (QC) of samples according to projects requirements and internal standards
• Organize biosamples’ storage 
• Prepare batches of samples for shipments in coordination with Operations Department
• Update samples database after shipments
• Assist Biobank Manager with archived biosamples
• Conduct processing of samples – centrifugation, aliquoting (in prospect)

 

Requirements:

• Skills of blood samples handling 
• Strong attention to detail
• Good knowledge of Quality requirement 
• Good general computer skills (Windows, G Suite)
• English language proficiency (intermediate and higher)
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• University degree in Medicine/Laboratory, Pharmacy or MicroBiology or related field
